Gonzalo Garcia was born in Montevideo (Uruguay) in 1979. He grew up in constant contact with the music. It was his father, the singer and song writer Uruguayan Daniel Guerra, who gave him the stimulus to study music reading and strengthen even more his musical knowledge. His carrier starts at the age of 14 as drummer in a pop-rock band. Later he joins his father's group as a percussionist.
At 18 he goes into production studying sound and arrangement techniques. Produces two CDs as percussionist, at the keyboard and making arrangements for Daniel Guerra ( Piel Adentro 1998 and Loco Mundo 2001 ). Parallel to his studies in graphic arts and production, Gonzalo develops and
interest in mixing, and is then that he begins his work as Dj. In 1998 he meets the musicians, Djs and productors Gustavo Bravetti (a.k.a. Maldonado,Bravetti & Quartino) and Marcelo Castelli, and is then when he throws himself in full into the world of electronic music, so much that his first remixes and productions are born (unedited yet) for electronic musicians in Montevideo.
After 2001, he emigrates to Spain, where his grandfather came from, looking for new horizons. He moves to the province of Malaga where with the help of the production company DAN & GLOBAL starts as designer and resident Dj in all the events such as SMILE FRESH HOUSE well known in the whole of Spain. Towards 2004 produces and edits together with Dj Chus, David Penn, Dr. Kuchol, Rafa Alcantara y Gustavo Bravetti, among others " SMILE FRESH HOUSE Chill & House Music Vol 1" which includes four of his tracks from " Somontano", Bluetime, Matinal and 5 Seconds.
In 2005 produces together with Dani Vars and the singer Lourdes Adab " SPANISH BEAUTY" ( next to be edited) and “FANTASTIC PEOPLE". At the moment, among his latest remixes, we find "ROADHOUSE BLUES" of THE DOORS, "MOVIN" of Miguel Picasso and ANDREA’S SONG of Javier Gonzalez (Space Madrid). At the present time remix and it publishes under the label of Xtravaganza Records to Dj and producing Alex Gómez of their track "Cristine", it has just finished a remix for Javier González of their track "Andrea's Song" this will come out soon under an important spain label.
Gonzalo combines in his sets all the elegance of the electronic music.
Always with a house line well defined he lets us listen to all aspects, going from the melodic to the underground,and from the classics to the most up front...
Gonzalo breaths and transmits music.
