School, politics, music, animals, sports, conversation, singing (karaoke or otherwise), outdoor stuff, art, reading. Having fun. LAUGHING!! SUSHI!!!

Movies
Independent films, classics (Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart), comedies, Mel Brooks, anything at Alamo Drafthouse
Television
West Wing, Third Watch (yes, I know it's gone), NYPD Blue (yes, I know it's gone too), Sopranos, Queer as Folk, L Word, Six Feet Under (I'm behind a year, so don't tell me if it's gone), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Will & Grace, Scrubs, ER, probably many others I can't remember. I watch everything on Netflix, so for the love of God, don't tell me anything happening this season!
Books
I wish I had time for "real" books. Love science fiction, all kinds of "good" fiction, "America" by Jon Stewart, and the gazillion textbooks I have to read each year for school. (What was your first tip I'm not a math major?)
Heroes
My Grandmother. FDR. My best friend, Sherri Lee, what a survivor! My pledge bro Sandi, she's just amazing. My professors who have mentored me over the years. Heather Fargo for being an awesome role model, mentor and friend.

About me: I am within a few months of graduating from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. So much has changed for me in the last two years, and as I prepare to take the next steps in my life, I find myself excited, terrified, curious, confused. But this much is certain - I am a different person than I was two years ago, with a career goal I never would have expected, experiences I would not trade for anything, and a new sense of purpose. If I can just finish up my theses for both master's degrees and graduate on time, I'll be much happier. As I fly around the country to interview, and contemplate whether I'll move again or stay here, or what kind of job the first one will be, I've decided to embrace the unknown, welcome the inevitable change, and roll with it. What else can I do?
Of course - still gotta have fun. Austin's been great for that. Music, festivals, art galore, it's wonderful. I love to have fun - I work hard, play hard, think hard, sleep hard . . . all of it. I love to laugh. I love to learn. I love to be around great people, and LBJ's great for that. I hope to keep in touch with everyone, and if I forget - poke me! Friends are everything, I will never forget that.
If you know me, you know I'm one shade this side of insane. But if you're reading this, you know that maybe - just maybe - it's a good kind of insane. Right?
How to make a Evel
Ingredients:
3 parts intelligence
3 parts self-sufficiency
3 parts leadership
Method: Layer ingredientes in a shot glass. Top it off with a sprinkle of lustfulness and enjoy!
Who I'd like to meet: Intresting people. And Jon Stewart. Wait, that's redundant. Never mind. What I'd really like is to keep in touch with old friends, my Bros, and my family, with whom I have mostly lost touch. I have friends scattered so far and wide - this may not be ideal, but it's something.
bleu cheesed lips... butt'ry breath of popped kernals of corn dangles upon her slilghtly open mouth of merriment and wonder... her emerald green eyes transfixed upon the celluloidal story unfolding...u cannot resist ... a quickly stolen kiss. her taste a concoction of a moment in slow-motion..if only rewind.
bench kisses get interrupted by life...security guards...drunken souls...crikets... and beer stained feetsies....huh??? somehow we laff it thru... uno anos....
I think I am all happy with ceremony pictures... so don't stress about sending them. But if you could e-mail me a shot of the tumbled cake, I'd love you forever!! No one else got it... :-)
thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you... for coming out here... for the jag and stuff... for taking care of drunk people... for being my hopeful blind oppossum...
