Goodbie Amy was originally formed in 1997. Goodbie Amy
played a solid number of venues, mostly throughout Monmouth,
Bergen and Passaic counties.
After a three year hiatus, Goodbie Amy is back with a new, more precise and energetic band. Still fronted by Amy Paradise, whose electrifying performances have amazed crowds years prior, Goodbie Amy returns with a new level of entertainment. Dale Paradise returns on guitar along with two new members, Ray Terranova on drums and Ro Pacheco on bass guitar. Ray and Ro are well-seasoned players with many solid years of performance experience. Ro has RETURNED to Goodbie Amy after many years...he was one of our ORIGINAL MEMBERS!!!! Welcome back bro!!! These are two great players who have had much success throughout their musical careers.
In 1996 Dale and Amy began performing together as an
acoustic duet throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties. After
spending a full year making a name for themselves as a premier
acoustic act, they decided to expand on their musical success.
Dale and Amy decided to add musicians to complete a full band.
The outcome was the first incarnation of Goodbie Amy. This line-
up continued to play throughout Bergen, Passaic, Middlesex,
Monmouth and Ocean counties for five years. After a brief
hiatus, Dale and Amy returned to their “acoustic roots”. Once
again bringing a high level of acoustic entertainment to Ocean
county. Proving to still be a solid musical act, they decided to
reform Goodbie Amy. Now, Goodbie Amy is a new band with
much more experience, talent and energy. In addition to
Goodbie Amy, Dale and Amy continue to play smaller acoustic
venues.
Goodbie Amy’s main focus is fun! The music that we select for
our playlist is music that upbeat and has an edge. The key for
us is ENERGY! We try to steer away from the slow-moving
songs. We want people to dance and have fun. Thus far, this
has proved to be a successful formula. We are looking to appeal
to people who like to enjoy themselves. We encourage dancing
and crowd participation.
We are excited about being back and look forward to seeing our
old fans as well as making new ones. We promise to keep you
entertained.
