The Good Booking Agency is a boutique booking agency specialising in folk, country and good rock music.
They operate to write 'the good book' as a trusted music business for musicians and their audiences.
Established in 2006 by Alicia Bee, The Good Booking Agency became the banner for organising two regular weekly nights, one-off events and representing unique talent.
This is a home to people who believe in 'the good folk' of Australian music.
They seek to find enthusiastic musicians, punters and venues to work with in promoting their ideals of common good.
With a five year history, 'The Good Folk Club' opined that Australian folk music is being created and reinterpreted weekly all over Melbourne.
The Good Booking Agency also runs a songwriting challenge called 'The Good Folk Song Competition', which seeks to find the NEWEST Australian Folk song. The contest looks for a strongly written anthem of Australian music and can be a folk, country, blues, roots, classical, jazz, rock, hip-hop or an alternative music song.
The Good Booking Agency is proud of a small client base and offers individual attention to acts that wish to perform regularly.
