Imagine the perfect summer party mix, spun by the ultimate hype-DJ.
Goodbye Beatdown is a band of four Langley boys who manage to bring the best elements of a summer party to the stage and speakers all year round with their mix of hip-hop, rock, blues, folk, soul and reggae. The band’s fusion of styles and manic energy is making ripples in the stream of popular music around B.C. and they’re poised to bring the party across Canada and all over the world.
The trio of “Dizzy” Dustin Overhill (vocals), Brani Shibilev (drums) and Sean Simpson (guitar) had been together under the name “Critical Element” since 2006 and released their first album entitled, “Believe Us”, in June 2008.
With the addition of Mark Luongo on bass (formerly of Daniel Wesley) in March they’ve reinvented their sound, style and image to become “Goodbye Beatdown” and are set to release a full-length studio album under this new name and lineup in Summer 2009.

well dizzy dustin - i liked it! it's different to what i listen to, i prefer the guitar and bass in the background to the beats, but i still like it!! - christa
Im diggin your guys's sound, you guys must have a lot of different musical influences because it really shows in the diversity of your guys's music, your first song sounds kinda like sublime which is tight, but it all sounds good. im a fan for sure ;) have a good week boys
