1 - FRIEND US - so i know where to find you.

If you want to get a show, look at our calendar and find a few dates or slots that could work for you. If there's 4 acts already on the bill, move on. Look for TBA slots. If there's less than 4 acts but no TBA, it means supporting acts are being added by one of the bands that are already booked. Contact them if you want to try to get on that day's bill.

For open dates, you can bring a supporting act or 2 w/you if you like. The house keeps first slot, bands can fill the other three. Just let me know when you contact me.

If you want to put a show together in the BACKYARD SPACE, we book shows that run from 8pm and end at 11pm during the week and run to midnight on friday and saturday nights.

we book two or three acts a night or screen films in the same timeframe. we prefer to concentrate on electronic, acoustic or lightly amplified music and discourage live drums after 10pm during the week and 11pm on weekends.

2 - Contact us here, not anywhere else.

3 - Be patient. We'll make something happen.

4 - Sets are 39 minutes long or less. If you're THAT good, the throngs of your faithful will hoot and holler and I will cheerfully relent and allow an encore.

5 - ALL SHOWS ARE 21+ unless otherwise noted.

6 - Show starting time is approximately 9:15pm for first act, REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT SAYS ON MYSPACE.

7 - Honoring your commitments;

Bands are responsible to contact us if there's a problem ASAP. If you're booking a "show", you're responsible to give us a lineup at least three weeks in advance of date. If you don't, i start booking your "show" slots, ending with your own slot the week of the show, meaning you don't get on stage for that date. Fair's fair. I have rent to pay and need to occupy space and time in order to do so.

Bands who simply don't show up needn't bother contacting us ever again. There's no excuse for bad manners.

BACKLINE INFO!!! we have a PA systems inside and outback, five mics and stands, 2 bass amps, four guitar amps, two drumkits, near complete - bring your hardware, cymbals and snare - please respect our equipment.

don't ask what model. it's annoying and not pertinent to anything except being a nudge. they work. that's enough.

TO ANYONE WHO ASKS ABOUT THE PIANO, LIKE IF IT'S REAL OR FUNCTIONAL; why would i drag a hundred year old, 500 pound piano up, onto a ten by ten foot stage if.....ALSO....we tune it four times a year with the change of the seasons.
