Goodbye Ivan is a project run by Arnaud Sponar
French multi-instrumentalist coming from twenty years of extended musical experience, involved in researching different musical styles and performing in the bands Opak, Dice and Raincoat, among others ..
Whether you are escaping trams in the center of Prague, getting lost in experimentalism in Berlin or on the verge of making drastic changes to your life in St. Petersburg, this music evokes all of these experiences.
Cinematographic and melancholic, the music of Goodbye Ivan exposes
voids and experiments with space. It is music for wandering into new,
unknown spaces.
On stage, Goodbye Ivan combines the melodic sweetness of a Rhodes
piano, a rocking and emotionally edged acoustic guitar, a symphony of
random sounds, percussions and xylophones, with an unconventional and
piercingly sweet cello, played by the accompanist Sara Oswald.
The result is a mixture bound to inspire both tears and the smashing of furniture.

COLD FEVER (film islandais + musique islandaise) Samedi 31 Octobre - Dès 21h00
Le film : Atsushi Hirata, jeune cadre japonais, est forcé par son grand-père d‘annuler ses vacances de golf à Hawaï pour retrouver le lieu où ses parents sont morts lors d'un voyage touristique en Islande… et d'y organiser une cérémonie funéraire. Atsushi débarque donc en Islande vêtu d’un costume trois pièces et décide de traverser le pays en plein hiver... avec une citroên ds ! Roadmovie fascinant et initiatique, "Cold Fever" séduit par son histoire improbable, sa musique, ses protagonistes touchants et parfois très drôles, et surtout ses incroyables paysages lunaires. Une immersion dans une Islande fantastique et burlesque : du grand cinéma islandais signé Fridrik fior Fridriksson.
Afin de prolonger l'atmosphère du film, celui-ci sera suivi d'une sélection d’artistes de la scène islandaise par Yann (Shayo, et soirée Disorder!), dans un répertoire pop-folk mélanchobucolicambiant : Sigür Ros, Björk, Mùm, Amiina, Calder, Hilmarsson, Pornopop, Olafur Arnalds, Slowblow, Bang Gang, Benni Hemm Hemm, ...
