Kay, I would like to send to a personal thank you, for quite some time back introducing me to a band in mr. rogers class known as hatebreed. I shall be traveling to cinci sunday to see them and I might have an extra ticket but I'm not entirely sure yet. If you will be in town and would like to go let me know, I will know if I have an extra ticket tomorrow afternoon.
Sat is a no can do. Its the last night The Speakeasy (my friends bar/venue) is going to be open and they're having a Halloween show too. Plus I am SO BROKE its not even funny. Its either ringworm or comeback kid and I am a much bigger comeback kid fan and I have been trying to see them for years so I am just waiting for that one.
Its really hard for me to get to JC with school and work. I really need to focus on those two things more than anything else right now unfortunately.
That was a picture of my friends band in my hometown in FL, where 90% of the local shows are like that. I don't understand why we all have to drive an hour to JC to have a good time. (The hideaway rules btw)
Oh wait thats right, there are no good venues here anymore and any time someone like you tries to do something ritious and help out the scene somebody has to be a fucking tool and steal shit like a little pussy bitch and ruin it for everybody.
I am sorry, but I have had what has felt like an empty space inside of me where something is missing for a long time and I have finally figured out what it is; it's the local scene. I'm sure others feel the same way, but coming from someplace were the passion is so intense to a place where the venues dont give a shit about anything but profits pisses me off terribly bad. The fact that there are not even a handful of bands that are actually holding it down for Ktown is pethetic to me.
