We started up as a band due to the lack of musicians in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. A lot of the club owners were calling around asking musicians to put something together to fill their empty stages. We came together to play for them (or for us), the New Orleans' folks who came home after the storm and needed to hear some good music to get their minds off off the crazy SH*T that was going on around them.
We had such a great time playing together that we just continued to do it and the next thing you know, we have our myspace page. wouldn't you know?
i'd love to open for you guys sometime with my one man live electronic loop show. i use keyboards (motif/nord), samplers, beat machines, turntables, and various other instruments/toys to create a full funky electro sound. i think it'd be a perfect fit as an opener for you guys. think about it and also check out my band Swampnoise - myspace.com/swampnoisemusic BIG UPS! Hello friends- Hard to believe that we are 8 days out till Bear Creek and only 7 days till the pre-festival kickoff party. Just wanted to remind everyone that Bear Creek tickets will increase in price from $140 to $155 tomorrow, November 6. They will be $165 at the gate. VIP tickets are $275 and will remain at that price until the gates open, when they will jump to $350. Also, we will be hosting a special Bear Creek Saturday Night Costume Contest at the festival. Please dress up and help us keep the spirit of Halloween and Friday the 13th kicking during the festival See you in a week.
I'm gonna come to the Destin show instead. It's only a little over an hour away vs. 4 hours... I had such an amazing time at the last show. You guys are amazing:) Happy Halloween.
