What defines our hearts?
That is the question that this Arizona based band “Goodnight Darling” hopes to unlock through their music. So many things in life can change the outcome of what we are to become or how we look at things. The lyrics of this band are aimed at opening the eyes and ears of the listener, to look inside at the everyday struggle that is life. The ups and downs of the music are designed to imitate life and its complexities. Hope and heartache sometimes go hand in hand but it’s how we handle it that defines us.
The music this band creates ranges from wide open happy places to deep internal struggle. Much like a fairytale or a movie, Goodnight Darling hopes to captivate the listener with each note, melody, and lyric and take them to a place of reflection and imagination.
“To know that hope is near and true friendship even closer is what we hope to achieve in our music” says lead vocalist Nick Orso. Coming from unique backgrounds of music, this five piece band delivers more heart than most. Their passion for peoples hearts is evident in each performance so be sure to check this band out next time they visit your town.
Formed in late 2006, Goodnight darling started when lead singer “Nick Orso” and Guitarist “Austin Owen” decided to create music with a movie soundtrack feel mixed with familiar acoustic roots. It started in a living room and has now turned into a great success do in part to brother and drummer “Landis Orso” joining the band. With his hard rock influences this band has taken a new form and redefined indie music. Be on the look out for their debut album
