Keith Vogelsong and Nathan Jones started Goodnight way back in 2004 with little more than a few drunken conversations and a passion for bocce ball to unite them. Just 8 months later, Goodnight Records has grown to become the pre-eminent indpendent rawk label in Southeastern North Carolina. Which would be pretty awesome if either Keith or Nathan lived in Southeastern North Carolina.
What Goodnight is trying to do -- at least, what it thinks it is trying to do (what it tells girls in bars it is doing) -- is provide a conduit for our talented friends to produce, distribute, and promote their work to the rest of the world. Everyone has a brilliant friend. Sometimes we are lucky enough to have two. In our case, well, lets just say we've run out of fingers and toes trying to count up all of our brilliant friends and we are so fortunate to have a little extra cash from our nascent small-arms smuggling enterprise to be able to plow back into recordings of our brilliant amazing friends.
I am currently offering bands a $200 per day deal to come in and record , if you are a young band and need a product this could be a great opportunity for you to record in a proffessional studio and leave with a product at the end of the day, all for $200!!!
Also for bands who just want to lay some new tracks down fairly quickly this would be ideal. Grab some time while the offer lasts!!
