Located at 3 W. Streamwood Blvd. in Streamwood, Goodtime Music has been the
go-to local music store and fully equipped guitar pro shop in the area since
1993. Our teachers are all working professional performers as well as kind and
patient instructors, with all the knowledge and experience needed to show you
how to get it right the first time. Topics covered include music reading,
theory, ear training, song learning, vocal and instrumental technique,
performance preparation, music appreciation, how to self-teach, and how to
always enjoy learning something new. Plus, each of our instructors brings their
own specialty to the table, which helps those interested in learning one or more
specific styles. We have specialists in modern and progressive rock, solo and
classical guitar, blues, roots, country, and acoustic, classic rock/pop, musical
theater, and classical singing on staff. All of our teachers are very
experienced working with all ages of students and children and beginners are
especially welcome.
Lessons at Goodtime Music are currently
$17 per half hour session and are purchased, in advance, one month at a time.
Lessons are available Monday through Saturday in the afternoon and evening. For
