Good Vibrations is an annual Australian music festival that takes place every February. Reputed for bringing the world’s freshest and critically acclaimed music acts Down Under, the festival travels to four different Australian cities each year. Each event is staged in botanical gardens, parklands and natural amphitheatres. Since its first installation, big name acts have embraced the stages of Good Vibrations and the list goes like this: Moloko, Nitin Sawhney, Soul II Soul Sound System, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Arrested Development, James Brown, DJ Patife, Mylo and many more.
For the first time ever in 2007, music lovers in Singapore experienced the sensations of this music festival as Good Vibrations was introduced to our island. Took place on Monday 19 February 2007, the 2nd day of Lunar New Year, various live acts and DJs from eclectic genres, such as the iconic Beastie Boys and Jurassic 5. These international artists performed collectively with the finest regional and local talents such as Too Phat, Agrikulture, Wicked Aura Batucada just to name a few on a massive multi-stage set up.
