Buy our album "Aviatrix" on iTunes.
Were three pretty normal guys from a small town in central Oklahoma.
We grew up together and have been playing music for a few years. We finally learned how to DIY record, so we wrote and recorded our entire first album. We hope you can hear past the recording quality into the promise of the songs. We like lots of music and probably everything we like has shaped the songs. Well let you decide what you hear in there. Mostly, we just wanted to make music that we think is honest. We werent shooting at a particular genre, or trying to avoid one. We are disappointed that most music given significant attention simply isnt all that worthwhile. It seems that the problem with this type of music is that is just too calculated to be very human. We think that good music arises out of a few people making something they like, and we hope that we have managed that. We dont have a strong message or ideology. This probably is due to the fact that we write democratically and dont have one lyricist or lead singer. Our goal is to simply play shows and keep recording.
goodwill:
1. An attitude of kindness or friendliness; benevolence. 2. Cheerful acquiescence or willingness. 3. A good relationship, as of a business enterprise with its customers or a nation with other nations. 4. Honest band of musicians.
Thanks for the add!!! If you're into supporting local music you should listen to our songs and let us know what you think.. if not we still appreciate the add! Peace, ~CCTB~
Glad I can get this record on itunes, but how can I get it autographed? This is truly an underappreciated work of art, and I'm looking forward to the next one. (Soon?) (Please?)
goood job gents! glad to know you're still plucking away. say it now and coming around are two fine fine tracks. come play a show in san francisco sometime, it'd be good to see you again. cheers!
you guys are awesome. i wish i could play some more shows with goodwill. it's been such a long time...
well thanks for the great songs. how's that country band thing going?
I would agree with the statement that 'most music given significant attention isn't worthwhile' and maybe even that the music is too 'calculated'. But I am not sure that it is 'not very human.' It makes money. And I might venture to say that making money is very human. Does that make sense? I don't want to sound snotty...I encourage dialogue...
All right, so, I listened to all the songs, and I must say, I like "Valid Visions" the most. Im a sucker for the guitar and I loved the intensity of it in the beginning when it jumped right in. Keep it up!
