    In 2007,
    Goodwill Industries of SW Florida:

    -Received over 18.6 million pounds of donated goods.

    -Helped to divert approximately 15 million pounds of saleable goods from our community landfills.

    -Placed 292 people in jobs.

    -Provided vocational and social services to 7,202 people.

    -Provided housing for 181 residents in Southwest Florida.

    -Provided youth services to 89 high school age students through the High School/High Tech program.

    -Provided vocational and life-skills training to 33 students enrolled full-time in the L.I.F.E Academy Charter School.

    -Placed 50 vehicles in the hands of people in need of reliable transportation through the Four Wheels for Work program.
