On a beautiful summerday 12th July 1999 five rock..n..roll minded friends gathered together in a suburb called Vasaramäki of Turku. Their plan was to found new sport club which would especialize in football (soccer). Local park (hanhipuisto) gave name to club which was more than suitable for these QPR fans. Goosepark Park Rangers Fc was born. GPR Football clubs intention was to try to active guys of local Rock..n..roll scene to improve their quality of life by offering them efficient exercise.
As time passed on grip of management as well as on the field by players became more professional. Meaning that Rock..n..roll players one after another moved back to their rehearsal facilities beside their in instrument. Anyhow, basic idea in GPR Fc hasn..t changed at all.
