Hi Gopa, It's been so long since we had a chat. I've missed you. I'm finally settled into the new place. Bigpond took forever to set us up over here and even longer to iron out all the kinks, then my computer got several virus's and died. So I'm on Mats faithful old Dell... we are finally on the net. So first chance I get I'll fill you in on whats happening here.

Yes, Ubud is the Byron Bay of Bali....as Byron was 15 years ago...(minus the beach.) It has taken number one spot of places I want to live. It's in the monkey forrest in the hills, I love the jungle and there are so many different types of frangapanis, Hybiscus and just the most increadable flowers. They have a writers festival every year and the place is full of art., yoga, meditation, and natural therapies, vegan and vegetarian restaurants and organic markets...you can learn all sorts of crafts etc...everything I love. Bali is mainly Hindu and there are temples everywhere. I'm going back in September to look for a place to live for awhile while Steve surfs at Lombok. How are you Gopa? Are you enjoying Aus? Or do you wish you were back in Mayapur? We must catch up. It's been too long...xxx
