We are non profit D.I.Y music promoters from Glasgow, in our time we have had shows ranging from folk, tweepop, hardcore punk and acid rave, from artists who live at the end of our road to as far away as Austrailia and Russia (via France) if it excites us then we will put it on.
For an extremely well written article on pay to play and it’s implications on Glasgow’s music scene please go here GO HERE, do not deal with a promoter who is willing to treat you this way! There are alternatives. We work by splitting all money between bands after costs have been covered, also making sure they have good food to eat, travel money and a nice place to sleep.
We like pretty looking posters. turgid, boring text over a photocopied background cramming up wall space in glasgow's drinking establishments upsets us. Put some effort in!
We love zines! (and cakes and homemade jewelry). If you sell zines (or cakes, or homemade jewelry) and would like to have a wee stall at one of our shows please get in touch.

Out now: the first ever Winning Sperm Party Records release. It's also the first ever release, a 5-track ep, from new glasgow band 'plaaydoh'. It's also totally free, largely as a free internet download zip file (256kbps mp3s) but also a limited 100 copy release. here's some more details...
Plaaydoh are a lo-fi popband who record music in the garage. These songs are a selection from their first recordings, which they have decided to give away as a set of free mp3's. There are also some hand-made physical copies if you can get a hold of them.

Sleazies was cool... (mental note: eat more than two slices of toast in a day and you might remember more about things other than that they were 'cool')
I am practicing ukelele very quietly so my parents don't wake up. This is perhaps more than slightly embarrassing.
