About me:
The year was 2007. Their names were Chase Whale and Rusty Gordon. Two guys who love to discuss, and argue, all things film. Chase was soon hit with the idea of a movie web-site centered around reviews done in video. Rusty responded simply with “gordon and the whale dot com” With that, the site was launched that same year on October 10th. Now one year later, with a staff of 9, we are still going strong writing news, reviews, sponsoring advanced screenings, throwing movie parties, and interviewing today’s top creative minds in the film industry.

CANNES! I'm 2 blocks away from the palais des festivals et des congres
I'm staying here the night on my way back to Spain from Italy and decided to scope it out, Chase man.. you REALLY gotta get over here
it's a bit expensive though, 200 a night for 12 night min during Cannes.... :(
I'm going to London on Nov 5 and going to a couple of interviews with some people to start working on scripts and on production crews for various movies... hopefully it works out :)
let me know if there's anything I can do to help out the sight here in London (well when I get there).. if you need some help advertising (like maybe you want me to take cards or posters to places) I'd be more than happy to
I'll be periodically going to Spain when I can, and though the film industry there is MUCH more hidden and exclusive... I know now of certain places where your advertisements would be good
so yea, anything you need from London (or the UK) and just say the word,
hope everything's going well over there man, there are theaters with all kinds of palme d'or and grand prix showings... but all in french and no subtitles so I couldn't go (in Montpellier and Marseille anyway)
peace out man
