Performing, or listening? Listening is mostly classical and pop. Being at the rink exposes me to a lot of teenybopper music I'd not otherwise hear :-) and some of it sinks in.
Performing is choral music :-), my favorites are sacred music of the Renaissance but other stuff is good too. Chant.

Hmm... almost anything science-fictiony (Star Trek, Star Wars). I'm a sucker for date movies and almost anything with Claire Danes or Scarlett Johansson.
Television
Ever since I got cable and a DVR I watch waaaay too much TV! Current faves... Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Desperate Housewives, House, Monk, Meerkat Manor, Boston Legal. I'm hooked on "So You Think You Can Dance!" too.
Of course, I watch U of Arizona football whenever it's on!
Books
Fiction -- Lord of the Rings, a lot of classic science fiction (Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, Heinlein). I real a lot of non-fiction (grad school did that to me!) especially books on science and technology. I also really enjoy history and philosophy, and of course I've read a lot of books on Catholicism.
Right now I'm reading some books about the Federal Reserve -- I've become fascinated with how money and currency and national monetary/banking systems work.

About me: I'm an engineer. I'm a figure skater. I'm a Catholic. I'm a geek. I'm a singer. If I could make that rhyme it would be alternate lyrics to Bitch.
I moved to the Portland area in January 2006 (not a good time of year to move here), started a new job at Intel, found (eventually) a new coach, and started singing with the Oregon Chorale. I miss Tucson horribly, though, especially my sk8r friends, my choir buddies, and the nice folks at SSPP.
A lot of the people I see on a regular basis are my skating buddies, so it's not surprising to see them well represented in my top 12. Skaters are the best people!
Who I'd like to meet: I'm mostly here to help stay connected with friends and family...
