Music composer for film and t.v., but also for stage, bands, video games, art installations, and more. I'm out in L.A. now, but much of my early musical experience and influence came while spending many great years in Austin, Texas!
I write for orchestra, having recently conducted a piece of my own in an orchestral concert. I also compose electronica, ambient, pop, heavy metal, piano music, and other styles in my studio.
I play many styles of guitar, but especially love rock, funk, jazz fusion, blues, and ambient styles. I also enjoy playing the bass, and do a little teaching, too!
Have been a leader or member of many bands, playing everything from experimental improv to hard rock to reggae to acoustic. Am currently playing guitar for the improv comedy rock opera group Baby Wants Candy, here in L.A.
Graduated from the Berklee College of Music Film Scoring program, Summa Cum Laude. Studies incuded composition, orchestration, conducting, technology, and guitar performance.
