Gorehorn is a mixture of the finest gore, thrashiest riffs and groove that will drive you insane. Lyrics and themes are all inspired from various horror movies and our vivid imagination. Formed in early 2007, this pack of gorehounds have been spreading fear and horror into the heart of Gothenburg. We are not followers of the Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal sound, nor trying to be the coolest metalkids on the block.
If you have not yet heard of or seen Gorehorn, do not worry. Our campaign of doom has just begun.
THE STORY OF GOREHORN
1977, in the Eastern suburbs of Gothenburg, a repugnant deformed boy was born. His father was unknown, and his mother, a Ukrainian prostitute, died during labour. Seen as an abomination, the boy was tossed in the local river Göta älv, to his death. It is believed he was saved by a scarred and tattered old woman, and brought underground to the urban sewers. The elderly woman raised him as her own, feeding him on rats and dead pigeons, all under her own perverted forms.
Socially rejected, the boy lived his life in the sewers studying those above. Fueled with hatred of the society that once banished him, his disgust for the townsfolk grew stronger for each day. At the age of 20, he emerged from the sewers at midnight, stalking the streets of Rosenlund. Disguised and veiled he snatched harlots and drunken locals back to the sewers. Where he tortured, dismembered and ate them. Evidence from body parts floated up in the river indicates signs of fornication before and after the time of death.
Suspicious of all the sudden disappearances, the townsfolk led an angry mob through the sewers burning and demolishing everything in their path. The boy was trapped in the core of the sewer with no chance of escape. Caught, beaten down, impaled and trampled to death the mob threw his mangled corpse in the river. The killings stopped, for now…
His rotten corpse floated up ten years later outside an abandoned research facility called Kungälv Musical Research and Biotech Centre. His corpse and the murky poisonous waters merged with leaking biotech smegma, a noxious blend of melted old-school metal records and toxic waste, and organic rebirth begun. Up rose a horrifying mutated horned metal beast, Gorehorn.
Gorehorn made his way back to the Gothenburg sewers, reclaiming his old home. Now living with only one purpose in life; to maim and mutilate the bodies of NU-school adherent metal-kids, or just anyone who gets in sight.
In honour of Gorehorn, we named our band after him.

Svettigt, ösigt och hårresande blir upplevelsen efter era nattliga bravader på Henriksberg denna afton 6/3. Men det är inte bara håret som kommer resa sig. På scenen står Funk/Rock bandet "Motherpearl" från gbg och Skaras "succé-pop"pojkar "The Flaming Moes" och ger allt.
