In no particular order: Alice in Chains, Korn, Pantera/Damageplan, Zero 7, Massive Attack, Primus, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Aaron Copeland, Claude Debussy, Arnold Schoenberg, Vince Guiuraldi, Zepplen, Anita Baker, Evanescence, AC/DC, Dave Navarro, NIN, Wu-Tang, Prong, Public Enemy. How's that for a mix?
While we're onto music, here's a cool video from the movie, Queen of the Damned. The movie was lacking but the music rocked. The video is basically the vampire band lip synching the song played by Korn. I love this tune; but I gotta warn ya, it's a little dark!
Now check out one of the most incredible music performances ever. If anybody ever played it as good as the Beatles, it's the Fab Faux:
Movies
Pulp Fiction, Underworld, Kill Bill, Lord of the Rings, 12 Angry Men, silly Zucker brothers stuff, the Crow, Batman (1989), Nightmare before Christmas, anything directed by Tim Burton.
Television
I love the OLD Twilight Zone episodes. I recently got the box set...28 DVDs of black and white awesomeness! It was ahead of its time.
I also enjoy House, Family Guy, anything on the Dicovery or History channel. Most of the TV I watch is educational rather than entertainment.
Books
Who has time to read? Actually, I read everything, and none of it would interest you. I read the entire encyclopedia as a kid, so I that explains why I'm full of useless information (among other things) that will get me nowhere in life.
Heroes
My hero will always be my dad. If I had to pick those who are admirable, it would be those with kind hearts and pure motives. That's a short list.
Sometimes the neatest and most incredible people in the world are those you walk past every day on the street; the ones you never gave a second glance to...
I am always busy, either working (at work), working on my house, or working on someone else's. I never sit still, and rarely take a vacation. That might catch up to me someday. I own a few guitars, and I stink at playing them. As for music, I pretty much listen to all types. However, nothing beats getting dressed up for a night at the symphony.
Random stuff about me, and not in any particular order: Married with no kids...not sure if I want any...I take my day job very seriously and pour my heart and soul into it, as my work ethic won't allow otherwise...I build my own computers...I used to be an ordained minister but got burned out...I have seen God do miracles right before my eyes that would blow your mind...I am kind to all and loyal to those I trust, but you have to earn that trust...I try to avoid conflict unless I have no choice...I do all of my own construction work...I hate seeing problems I can't fix...Israel is the most beautiful place I've ever been to...I do websites...I am nice to everyone unless you give me a reason not to be...I've done missionary work in Central America and Africa...I've written computer programs and I build my own "stuff"...I'm a strong believer in the constitution and personal responsibility...Mensa meetings are boring and the people are wierder than I am...I love to sing, but am shy about it...I have great compassion for those who can't help themselves...you will never know the good I do for others, I'll make sure you never see it...I have no sympathy for people who buy their wants and beg their needs...I will take a bullet for the innocent...I don't let very many people get close to me, probably a defense mechanism to prevent more disappointment with people in general.
Who I'd like to meet:
Jesus, Ronald Reagan, Howard Stern, George Carlin, Edward Gorey, Aaron Copland, Tim Burton, Kathy Griffin, Uma Thurman, the Rain Main, Johnny Depp, Tiny Tim, and people from different cultures.
Let's not forget our troops, past, present, and future. Those guys are the real heros.
