Formed in 1997, GORGONS was the creation of Daniel who decided that after toying around with his older brothers music recording equipment, he was going to start making his own music. He soon got his younger brother Jake on in it to help compose and program, as well as his best friend Debicka for vocal support and lyrical imput. They played around and created a bunch of rough early recordings from 1997 through 1998, laying the groundwork for what would become their first full length CD release called 'Medvsa' in 1999. Great encounters with Switchblade Symphony soon transpired and GORGONS were lucky enough to have met Tina Root and Susan Wallace and give them a copy of 'Medvsa'. By 2001 GORGONS had remixed a track from Medvsa and put it out as an EP called 'Ophelia'. Throughout 2002 and into 2003 they worked hard on the second full length CD entitled 'Hour of the Serpent' and met with some success when it was played in clubs and even received a full album play on latin american radio in Santiago Chile. As 2006 came into sight, GORGONS was hard at work on what was to be their most challenging full length album to date entitled 'Spellbound', and in February 2007 the album was completed and produced.
