GORICA PONJAVIC
(Born June 28,1974) is a Serbian pop/rock singer and lyric writer.
She is widely known as a former member of 2 Serbian bands Neverne bebe and Cat people. Her first public performance was in 1994 in a competition of 40 Serbian bands where she won her first prize.
"The best singer of the year". On June 15,1994,Hit Factory records released Gorica..s first cd that she recorded with her first band Alergija. In a next 2 years she has been performing with them all over ex Yugoslavian republics.
In 1996,she was invited to join Neverne bebe band and the same year German publisher Music factory releases their second album "Neverne bebe 2". All 15 000 copies of this album were soon after sold and the band started with their first tour. From 1996-1998 band has performed over 470 concerts. A little tour break was made in 1998 when they started to work on their third album that was released the same year. Hi Fi Center records has released it and the band started their second tour which was very successful. On december,1999Gorica started a short African tour with her band in the state of Kenya. Soon after they returned to Serbia they started a tv show 3K Dur that was one of the most interesting shows on national RTS tv in next 2 years and its purpose was to support and promote unkown tallented young singers. During this few years a band took down 7 video clips for their best songs such as "Dvoje","Ljubav","Balkan","Gotovo","Godine srama" and most of it still can be seen on some Serbian tv stations. In 2003 Gorica founded another band Cat people and she started to perform with them.
The same year Serbian Idol show has started so her band took a place as a support to another new tallented singers. According to the electronic analysis this show was the most popular entertainment and over 1000000 people have been watching it. At the same time while Gorica worked on this tv show with her band they..ve been performing in Serbia and when the show was over she went again on African tour. She performed over 70 concerts in Tunisia. She had one more African tour in 2006.
On June 25,2007 she won the first prize at Stari Grad festival with a song "Zrno"so as few other prizes for
"Summer hit","The best performance at the festival"so as few more awards from festival sponsors. Gorica performed 1800 concerts by now. In july 2008 she went to NYC where she performed many concerts.At the moment she..s recording her first solo project called "Zrno" named by her first song she has presented at this Stari Grad festival. This cd will contain 9 more songs she worked on since the summer 2007.

I just finished college and join together with my brothers Shermaine Jaqu'el and Frederick and
