People immediately felt our gorilla head logo, and stickers and stencils began to appear all over the area. Our steadfast underground following has gained constant momentum since Gorilla Fist’s inception.

March derby madness!<br /><br />The DC Rollergirls again have back-to-back home and travel bouts in March.<br /><br />On Saturday, March 14, home teams Scare Force One and DC DemonCats will face eachother for the second time this season. The 2-1 DemonCats were victorious the last time around, but 1-1 Scare Force is itching for another win. The Cherry Blossom Bombshells will take on the Boardwalk Brawlers of Shore Points Roller Derby in an expo game.<br /><br />DC Rollergirls home bouts take place at the DC Armory, 2001 E Capitol St. SE, Washington, DC. Tickets are $12 for adults and will be available at the door. Doors open at 4 pm and the action starts at 5. The gallery walls will be transformed as a 15 artists come out from all over the world for a huge install collaboration. Thirty artists will be showcased. Each artist will showcase 20 pieces created on found objects that will be integrated into and inspire the overall installation, bringing the gallery back into the realm of street art. These found object works will retail for $20 - $40, keeping the art accessible and true to its roots.
