I heard your radio show for the first time while treking across the country on my summer road trip. It was awesome. I'm still new to the show/blog, so it may be a silly question, but being so close, have you checked out the scene in Houston? They've got some great bands, and quite a few are playing the Freepress Houston Summerfest this weekend. Amoung my Houston faves on the bill are Buxton, Wild Mocassins, News on the March, and the Young Mammals. I'm not even from Houston, but there are some great things happening there. Hopefully you'll get to enjoy these fellow Texans as much as I do.
