I am all about personal storytelling through scrapbooking. I started scrapbooking in 1997. I was so proud of my first page, which featured photos cut into several imaginative shapes, as well as several decorative edges. Thankfully, my pages have vastly improved, and have been published in Creating Keepsakes, Ivy Cottage Creations (now Scrapbook Trends), Scrapbook Answers (now defunct), and Memory Makers.

That geeky interest led to one of my current gigs, writing the Digital Dimension column for Memorytrends magazine. I also do freelance writing for other consumer and trade craft magazines, such as Craftrends, Memory Makers, and (the now defunct) Scrapbook Answers.
I offer promotional writing services through Scrappy Marketing Solutions, a niche marketing agency dedicated to helping small businesses get noticed. I have another MySpace page for that "personna": The Scrappy Marketer
I grew up in Kansas City, and live there now with my husband and two children. Once I gets rich and famous, I’ll hire an assistant, a maid, and a masseuse, but until then, I do all my own cooking, dishes, and endless sibling refereeing.
