About me:
Well. I'm a fairly old building, but I still make the most of it and try to offer the best services to my community as possible. We've got books, DVDs, videos, music CDs, Audio books, Leap Frog kits, 5 public computers, and lots of programming for all age groups.

I have a website here, with an On-line Events Calendar.

We have a Teen Blog AND a blog of Teen-written reviews: Teen Read, Teen Reviewed. Our Frappr Friends map can be found on the Teens Page as well. It was getting a little crowded here. If you miss it, let us know, and I'll put it back. this layout is from whateverlife.com!
Who I'd like to meet:
Goshen Central School Distrcit residents, of course! Library goers, or non-goers, and hopefully future-goers. Oh! And other libraries and librarians. And awesome authors. Geeks. Anime fanatics. Jimmie Johnson. (OK, that's just Jaemi.)

Hey Goshen Public Library,

Keep up the great work! And if you know of any upper-elementary, middle-grade or high school guys looking for fun, fast-paced, high-action, funny books that are like video games but are easy-to-read (and did I say funny???) then please tell them to try the AL'S WORLD series! (Simon & Schuster, Aladdin paperbacks, $5.99)

Readers can check out my Website at www.eliseleonard.com, and if any of your patrons want to take pictures reading my AL'S WORLD books and want to email me the pics, I'll put them up on my Website: www.eliseleonard.com on the FRIENDS page! [They'll be famous! I get hits from all around the WORLD!] Just hit the contact page on my Website to send them to me.

Oh, and the second AL'S WORLD book, KILLER LUNCH LADY, was nominated for an ALA Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers, so if you guys want to vote... go for it! :-)

Thanks for the add!

~Elise Leonard

A wonderful review from the Romance Readers Connection...
Lady Millicent has always felt that she has lived in her mother's shadow, the proper and mannerly Duchess of Weatherly, author of the renowned best selling tome on manners; something Millicent has never been too good at. Taking the advice of her mother's friend, Millicent decides to go to Scotland to apply for the job of a nanny. However, upon arriving, she realizes there are actually two others ladies there for the job also, women who seem to need the job much more than her. Millicent is determined to keep her identity secret however she also wants to help the children and the other ladies.
Lord McDougal has no idea what was awaiting him on his arrival home. He desperately needs help with his two children, yet, picking from the three ladies in his home may be difficult, that is until he realize Millicent is the damsel he rescued on the road. McDougal knows he has been in need of a wife although he had not met the woman he thought he could live the rest of his life with and one to help his children. It doesn't take long for him to realize that the woman he wants is right under his roof.
THOROUGHLY MANNERLY MILLICENT is a remarkable story filled with laughter and romance. Ms. Thoman gives readers an unforgettable tale that they will find hard to put down until the end.

My mom used to make fun of Mother's Day.
She insisted that being a mother wasn't
something you needed a brass band for.
I can't change my mom's mind -- she died
sixteen years ago. So do me a favor?
Hug yours TWICE today, once for me!

Hi there, Goshen PL ~

Just wanted to drop in to say thanks for the add. Libraries are invaluable friends of the community - I wouldn't be who I am today without the wonderful library in my hometown.

Waving hello to you from Indiana, and wishing you all the best...
