Labyrinth, Cutthroat Island, Evolution, it was just plain funny!
Television
Cosmos, Xena, Farscape, SG1, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica(orginal), Monk (when I can catch it on) a lot of the Discovery, History and Science channels though I end up watching a lot of play house Disney and PBS kids with my 5 year old son.
Books
I can't remember the last time I read a book for myself, most books I read is to my kids. Some of my fave's are Dune series, Star Wars, Splinter of the Minds Eye, Harry Potter series, JRR Tolkien series, The Lion the witch and the wardrobe series, Year of the Unicorn, Dune, The Wheel of time, Star Wars, When I was a kid my Dad made me read the book before he would take me to see the movie when it first came out, It was very hard for me to focas on reading since I was dieing to see the movie!
