Gospel Unit is geboren uit vriendschap. Ze staan bekend van een band van
hoge kwaliteit dat komt vanuit de eenheid die zij vormen. Deze 17-koppige band wordt versterkt door de GU Dancers en maakt gospel, r&b, jazz, soul en latin. G.U. leden met ieder een andere kerkelijke en culturele achtergrond die hedendaagse gospelinterpretaties brengen van Amerikaanse liederen maar ook eigen repertoire. Gospel Unit zingt met net zoveel gemak bij scholen, bruiloften en festivals. Door hun veelkleurige muziekstijl, waarin uptempo r&b hand-in-hand gaat met traditionele soul en stampende gospel.
