"After making successful careers out of Olympic swimming and after getting over their long term rivalry, Thomas "The Thorpedo" Thorpe and Kevin Van Der Hoogenband decided to combine forces and try their hands at making music. Alas no drummer on earth would want to play with them due to constant swimming references and admiration for abysmally poor Emilio Estevez sports-films, so they decided to form a 2-piece avec Buck, their loyal drum machine. Both play guitar and like fiddling with keyboards, delay pedals, basses and drum machines. Hopefully they will start experimenting with other instruments when they grow more arms. I've been poorly, but I feel a bit better now. Plus we are on deadline which sucks so I am always at work. I am having a pre-birthday party avec mes parents et mes soeurs demain, mais after that I will definatley be coming out to play at the show. It will be a grand reunion of faces. I should really return the favour of the dinner invite, as I can use my delectable (if sometimes poorly presented) cooking skills to barter for guitar sessions. I've cheered up now - despite the fact that I stayed at a friends house last night and neglected to take proper shoes or a proper coat with me, so walking to work was pretty chilly... I'm going to see a questionable band later, but its an early show so if you be about for pub fires etc in Camden afterwards (that's sitting by the fire not setting fires...).
