CRUSH was started just over 3 years ago and consist of current members Rob on the Drums and Vocals, Jeff on Lead Guitar and Vocals, Jeremy on Bass and Vocals and our current Lead Singer Spike.
CRUSH was recently voted one of the top two bands overall in the Huntsville Area in a local fan survey conducted by North Alabama Entertainment Guide The Valley Planet.
During 2007-2008 CRUSH earned this spot by playing some 150+ shows locally, easily more than any other local band and even more than some professional road bands. If there was a category for the hardest working band CRUSH would have won it hands down!
By 2008 CRUSH had expanded it's reach into over eight local venues and in at least two out of town venues, again they were out working any other local band and in more venues. This wide acceptance at variety of venues proves that the formula CRUSH decided on in the beginning of the band was the right one. The formula is no secret, CRUSH is giving the people what they want musically and doing it with a smile, handshake and a energetic rocking twist!!
Due to the hard work in 2007 and 2008 and a total commitment to "get the name out there" the members of Crush have made a very quick rise in the North Alabama Area as a Premier Professional Party Band with an extremely wide range of musical styles that few bands can match. They play covers from Garth Brooks to Buckcherry and then from Nickelback back to the Temptations and everything in between! They are not afraid to take on any style or genre.
Each member of CRUSH brings their unique gifts and historys to the band and that is really what makes CRUSH CRUSH! A bunch of fun loving yet serious musicians who are doing their very best every night to give the people what they want and trying to do it better and more often than anyone else.
With their sights set on becoming the number one band in Huntsville in 2009, Crush started off with a Schedule for 2009 that had them pre-booked for over 60 dates before the year had even started! 2 Venues booked them for the entire year in advance and 2 others booked them for 6 months in advance.
But none of this could have happened without the people they play too.
Crush fans are at the core of the band and they are building an incredible support network everyday. The CRUSH myspace is maintained by the members of the band themselves and they have a few more wonderful friend requests from the great people that they see at their shows week after week. If there was no one to play to there would be no CRUSH and the guys in CRUSH know how important ever person is that comes to see each and every show.
