Sounds Like
Electronic gristle crunch fuzz collage and media sample madness. Retarted High God Poeple who flirt with pervrse danger and bold scribbles. Cassett DJ lofi trickery and discordant rythms.
One day Billy and Cam (the 1920's time traveller) were driving along...one of those long crazy days. The time traveller suddenly wound down the driver's window, shoved his clenched fist out in the air, and yelled out "Team Red". Billy (aka the tard, the filth generaor, the fruit cake,) declared that would be a spiffy name for a band.....then some time later Bill and Cam found themselves collaborating over the internet and in person, and so Team Red was born. Later Bill was dragged along by his cultured German freind Kurtles to La Mama Theatre, feeling quite awake after conversing with a dodgy lebanese man, noted that a young gentleman called Jez Speelman described himself as a cartoon and his performance was exactly that. So soon 'Jezza', after sandwiches and fish joined the band, and they went and performed in Wagga Wagga in 2004. Performing at various venues including Glitch Bar, Horse Bazaar, The Art House, The East Brunswick Hotel, etc. Team Red continued in this megastar line up creating crazy, lo-fi, collage electronica and collaborating with poets, experimental artists and talented musicians over the years........................................................................................................
The 1920's Time Traveller!
Cam's involvement varied, due to personal and work commitments, but he was still an enthusiastic, active member of Team Red. During his time with Team Red he contributed a number of crucial tracks and samples used in backing for live performace whilst performing with us when available. He contributed a written apocalyptic piece for the "But is it Poetry?" gig during Overload Poetry Festival 2005 wich he was present for and was a stand out gig for early Team Red. In late 2007 Cam became more involved after establishing his computer and web design business and the plan was for all three members to travel with Cam in his newly aquired Mercedes to TINA Festival in New Castle. Tragically Cam died in a car crash a week before TINA. Cam will allways be missed as an important and most loved friend and collaborater and of course the man behind the name Team Red.
"Go Team Red!"
RIP Cam. XO...........................................................................................................
In 2009 Team Red will have a track on an upcoming 'Albert's Basement' vynal compilation and is also planning to record a limited edition Team Red Cassette album for the 'Albert's basement' crew to sling at ya. Since late last year Team Red has been joined by another regular contributer Adam Hunt who became aquainted with the band through his wife Mish's involvement in another of Bill's bands 'Dont burry us beore we are dead' and subsquently Jez's involvement in Adams band 'Sundown and/or Last Stand'.......................................................................................................
Team Red has also performed and collaborated with musicians, artists and poets including Steve Whatmough (of 'Dont bury' etc. , and 'Arbituary'), Giles Banister (of 'Sleepville') and Jed Jenner (aka 'Evil Jed'), Steve Smart, Andrew Rodriguez (aka 'Slick') to mention a few.
Team red has recently worked with Craig Fox on the soundtrack for his upcoming short film for Tropfest "The Jesus Spoon" and is keen on doing more sound for film.

SEAFAR deliver a fat slice of electric space music - Hegira the sounds of a flight from danger. Wander the streets together, the noise of life muted by sheets of rain, brilliant colours dimmed in a pervading mist of grey. An instrumental amalgam of moody beats and synth drenched noises.
