Band’s history:
GothicDolls is a band which started its activity around 2003.
They were first called Scarlet Moon, a band of reunited friends who just wanted to play music for fun and do some covers, because they had the same interest in music. Scarlet Moon was composed of Kazuki, Kamui and Yuki. Time passed by and the band expanded, Kazuki convinced Wakka to join them. They had difficulties to get the musical instruments and the places where they could practice, but they worked hard to be able to obtain their own instruments for the band. As they were growing as a real band with their own new songs and covers, they started needing better instruments to improve themselves. Some times later a new vocalist joined the band, Kala, who had firstly to come to the city where the band was located to practice because he was living in another city. They had to cope with a lot of problems because they had to work hard to earn money enough for the band and keep on improving their abilities but all of that drained their energy and time. Anyway, they kept on working hard and being faithful for the love of the music.
The band started looking for places to do lives in different events and conventions in order to show their own works. At the beginning, it was pretty hard because people are not used to pay attention to new bands, but they kept on playing more often and harder, so they deserved people’s affection and they managed to get it.
They composed a first album with their own songs and different covers, even though some problems postponed the release of the album. This album is available in many different points of Spain.
As for now, the band recently released a new single containing the songs Beyond Suicide and Mermaid’s Scar, in an excellent quality. They are now working on their second album with brand new songs, and some of them were played at their last year’s live on Novembre 3rd, 2007.
