SHORT BIO Beverly Van Pelt is a writer, radio show host, filmmaker, and real estate broker from Monterey, California. She has a bachelors of science in Management & International Entrepreneurship with an emphasis in Marketing and Film & New Media from the California State University at Monterey Bay. Since 1997, she has been known as The Gothic Gourmet, a name that reflects her style and foodie status. In 1999, she received culinary instruction from former Club XIX Executive Chef, Ron Patterson. Beverly is also the proprietor of SunnySideoftheGraveyard.com, an online retail site devoted to Paranormal Culinary Lifestyle.
