Heroes
My first and foremost hero is Jesus Christ. He died for my sins and transgressions so that I may have eternal life.

Next, my heroes are ordinary Christians who live for God "in the daily grind"--they pray even when they feel weary, they read their Bibles even when they feel bored. They inspire me to do the same.

Last, but not least, I admire God-honoring teenage dudes who make an effort to live like Christ when all their friends and the rest of the world is going in the opposite direction. It's hard for all of us, but I think it's especially hard for them. It really is a plight, and I respect them for staying strong. =]

Update as of 7/16/08

My name is Nicole Marie Vacca.

I live in an awesome place, but Heaven is better. =] I am a Christian teenage girl. My identity is found in Christ alone. I am not a label. I love reading, writing, and [mostly Christian] rock. (And taking walks is also pretty cool, too, lol.) I can often be fearful and I worry waaay to much, but I'm working on it through God's strength. I try to keep God first in my life. He is my Heavenly Father. People have hurt me in the past, but I have been inspired by others (such as my friend Sasha) to forgive them no matter what.

I love my youth group and everyone in it. Even those who don't always get along with me. I appreciate being around Christians my own age, as my old church did not have that.

I also love my church, PBAG. =]

I am in awe of all God has done to and for me, and I pray He continues to mold me. I had horrible times. I had my rebellion. But I repented. God changed me and gave me a new life, a new church family, and a new found peace in Him.

I now know many people who try to live for God "in the daily grind." They inspire me.

I also know a God-fearing guy who makes me smile twice. =]

Here is one of my fave verses: 2 Timothy 1:7--"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and of a sound mind."

I am imperfection incarnate. No Christian is perfect, just like no two snowflakes are the same. What separates us from the world is that we try to live our lives as God wants us to--and when we sin, we repent and turn away from those sins....

There is hope.
