    .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. ........       With complete opposition to throwing in the towel after parting ways with their original frontman, the remaining foundation of Philadelphia's SplinterFuse decided to take a temporary hiatus from an overpopulated scene. A lesser band would've crumbled at the immediate obstacle of not only rebuilding the direction of their music but obtaining a vocalist who could potentially lead them into a musical career.....       After months of writing, rewriting, tryouts, and continous searching, SplinterFuse had finally found their missing piece in New Jersey's own Shaun Thompson. With their lineup complete and a new arsenal of progressive songs that concentrate on both a musical and vocal drive, they had felt that it was no less than a necessity to change their name as well. With the death of their prior direction and the consensus of doing whatever it takes to ensure that the mechanics of the band continue to move forward, the five piece came to an almost obvious decision.....       With an explosive live presentation supported by brutal riffs and catchy hooks, you can expect nothing less than an intense experience from Ghost of the Machine.
