About Steven LeBeau

Hi! I'm a bay-area based recording engineer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Before moving into production, I played bass in a popular surf-pop group called "Drifting Sand" sharing the stage with people like Nancy Sinatra and Smash Mouth. My first professional exposure came as a result of engineering and co-producing a rather strange version of "Surf's Up" that got some airplay on KROQ's Rodney on the ROQ!

In addition to recording and producing for others, I've also pursued a parallel career as a powerpop songwriter/artist, and you can hear some of my songs playing this very moment.
