Of course Ghost of the Robot has broken up, so this is just a musicspace for all of those who still are fans and enjoy their music. Yes, this is only a fan!
How the band got together:
Aaron Anderson and Charlie DeMars were in a band together called Soccer Hooligans. After releasing their Self-titled debut album, Soccer Hooligans broke up, months before the "never-released " EP Thesis was due to be released. Aaron and Charlie then formed the band Power Animal with other local musicians one being Kevin McPherson a Local Jazz Bass Player who was hip to the fresh rock beats that Aaron and Charlie liked to Jam Down.
After a few shows the the Band broke down to a trio; Aaron, Kevin and Charlie. After a few more shows Charlie Quit His Job at a Corporate Clothier and moved to Los Angeles. Charlie Moved in with his Step-brother Steven Sellers who was writing Film Scores. Charlie was then introduced to James Marsters. Charlie had no idea who James was, but they all hung out together. Charlie and James were playing guitar and writing songs when they got the brilliant idea to form a band. James and Charlie played a couple shows together before they invited Steve and the remaining members of Power Animal to join the group.

Ghost of the Robot was a rock band, based in Southern California. It gained a following mainly due to its lead singer, actor James Marsters.
The band was formed in April 2002. Its members were Charlie DeMars (guitar and vocals), Aaron Anderson (drums and vocals), James Marsters (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Steve Sellers (keyboards and vocals), and Kevin McPherson (bass). The band recorded one album, Mad brilliant, a showcase of both James and Charlies' lyric writing skills. The album was a sell-out success, as were both European tours in 2003 and 2004.
On their 2004 European tour, the band chose to release an EP entitled It's Nothing, giving a taster from their long awaited second album. The second album was not released as James Marsters left to pursue other creative activities.
Marsters is now a successful solo performer with a sold-out tour of the UK in April 2005. The other band members are continuing in several different bands including Gods of the Radio and Power Animal.
