There are still a few copies of the CD left, you can purchase now at CDBaby. Huury now while stocks last!
A collision of old school industrial and distorted punk rock, the drum machine beats are reminiscent of Big Black and some late 80's post industrial acts Front 242, Cop Shoot Cop, KMFDM, Ministry, Skinny Puppy etc. Their sinister rhythms and nihilistic atmospheres give them an intense yet surprisingly mellow experience. As the pulverising drums, heavy bass tones, and clanging metal samples pound away, the warped aggressive yet mellow vocals relate a discernible undertow of disgust and horror at personal experiences. It's a bit sick to be honest but brilliantly atmospheric.
An acquired taste for sure, but everyone I've introduced them to has got past the seemingly inpenetratable wall of noise to reveal some fantastic
songs.
The debut CD is now available with 20 unique tracks, including 5 remixes from Cheju, Karhide, Terminal Cheesecake, Living Tissue and Puff Tube.
"blending low-level hip-hop beats with Scorn-esque bass and elonated guitar riffs to remarkable effect. . . it's that awesome. . . the music is superb, the artwork and packaging equally good. . . [it's] warped shuffling genius. 300% necro, foo'! (5/5)" (Zero Tolerance magazine).
Necro Deathmort's This Beat Is Necrotronic is released on Distraction Records on August 31st, but you can get your hands on it for FREE (on a 'if you like it, why not buy the CD?' basis) in all of its 320kps mp3 glory at distractionrecords.com!
