Government Cheaze, Fronted by Kameelah Waheed, has recently signed to Philly Through My Ear (an independent label out of Philadelphia established in 2002 by Will Smith Sr.)
using a rock/hip hop hybrid GC has brought their powerful energy to many stages sense its inception, and earned acclaim from fans and critics alike throughout the Delaware Valley. Most notably the Black Lily Film and Music Festival, performing at the legendary Roots Crew's Picnic and headlining shows at the Bottle and Cork in Delaware during the Dewey Beach Music Festival.
Their Philly Through My Ear / SoundMyne Entertainment label debut will soon be available on itunes for download.
