Davis and his bandmates serve up thick, meaty slabs of the blues, steaming and funky like a barbeque picnic on the Fourth of July! A 5-piece blues -- injected with soul/R'nB/rock influences -- outfit based in central Indiana. Formed in January '91, the act's repertoire includes original music written by Governor Davis & Steve Robbins, as well as blues covers ranging from John Lee Hooker to BB King -- lending their own original arrangements.
Known for its feel-good music, tastefully spiced with a little humor and a lot of fun, Governor Davis & the Blues Ambassadors is an audience-interactive show -- Gov often leaves the stage to dance with the audience, playing guitar with his teeth, and bringing audience members up on stage to dance and sing back up.
Since the band's inception, Governor Davis & the Blues Ambassadors has achieved a growing popularity in Indiana and surrounding states. The act performs an average of 170 shows per year in the US, as well as Governor touring Scandinavia (40 shows in 6 weeks) in 2005.

MR MOUSE Is having a benefit for Jason Christie, a great friend of ours that was in an accident 2 weeks ago, falling into an elevator shaft here in Yorktown. At Our Street party, scheduled for Sat July 18th with the Thump Band, we will be going to donate 100% of the proceeds of a bbq pork dinner with chips, a Dunk Tank, a 50/50 drawing, a Basket Ball Shoot, etc ect. Whatever we can come up with to raise money to help them through this. Any ideas to help, donations or things for u to raffle off, or help you would like to give for this cause would be great. Spread the word so that we can have a great turn out and really help the family out. He is one of our own!!!!! Let me know if you can help in any way.
