Art of course! I have a passion for painting, but I am interested in other realms of art. I am intrigued by art history. I want to know how other artists make their art and how they are influenced. My influences in art are the 19th Century painters like Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Moran, Fredrick Church, Winslow Homer et.al. In more modern times I do like Klimt, the American Impressionists, Issac Maimon, and Alphonse Mucha. I do love to read in the areas of art and science. Also, I enjoy computers, and gardening.

About me: G Owen is an listed Arkansas artist, He is a past President of the Arkansas League of Artists in North Little Rock, Arkansas.The artist works predominantly in the medium of watercolor, but works in other mediums as well. He loves to work in all subjects because he does not like to limit himself. He enjoys painting landscapes and musical pieces the most.
The artist's training is by trial and error, with the exception of attending the Arkansas Art Center's Museum School in Figure drawing for 2 years. G Owen has been painting for over 25 years. He continues to learn from famous artists through various means.
Through his creations, the artist strives to communicate the feeling of joy, peace, hope, comfort, encouragement, and beauty.
