About me: Welcome to GoWest Ministries. My name is Keith and July 8th,2007 is a day I will never forget. That's the day I answered the call to the ministry. I wish I could tell you exactly what that ministry is and when I will get started. But God has not filled in those blanks for me yet, the only thing I know is that He has something planned for me and was waiting for me to come on board. It's funny, the morning of the 8th, we had brotherhood breakfast at my church and I won a door prize, a set of "jumper cables"! I just looked at my pastor and said, is this a sign? I had been praying about this for a long time and really was waiting for God to get everything lined up just right, then I would drop right in on the ministry He had all planned for me! It occured to me that's not how God works. He wanted me to make the first move, a leap of "faith" you could say, so I did. You see, back in May, after 33 years at the same place of work, my company downsized and told me, "Keith, we're going to have to let you go." No warning, hint of any kind, just good luck! That's not how you want to start your day, but about an hour later, God let me know, that it would be allright. He gave me a peace about all this and have praised Him in this storm. Maybe this was the open door I needed to start down the road to the ministry. Currently, I am sales consultant( salesman). But what has God have planned for me, don't know, but know in time He will let me in on it. Till then, thank you Jesus for all you have done for me and God, I am waiting for instructions on the next part of the plan. Please pray that God will show me His will and way and who know's one day may be spreading the word at a church near you. Take care and God Bless, Keith
I sure will bro, you do the same for me if you will. I have really been busy this past year and continue to be working with a new college ministry at my church. We are right now in the process of planning a monthly event for local college kids to come to each month with a band, free food, and just a place to come and hang with other believers and a chance to have somewhere they can invite their lost friends. Looks like our first event will be March 12th, def would appreciate the prayers. God bless bro
