"This Melbourne band's debut four-song EP is a winner" Jeff Jenkins - Mag
"..a band that reminds us plenty of a more melodic The Primitives, Katrina And The Waves, The Darling Buds and The Divinyls!" NotLame Recordings
"Goyouhuskies! is a great little debut e.p. from a local Melbourne 4-piece. Catchy vocal melodies overlay some cool rocking guitar based tunes. Good to see the girl/guy vocal harmonies used well, with 2 songs each allocated to both singers. There's a bit of something for everyone here with a couple of real rocking tracks, a slower number and a clean jangly love song too. Highly recommended." Wil Corocks
"This perky group from Melbourne whet our appetites on a couple of Popboomerang compilations (not to forget the "Pop The Question" comp from earlier this year), and now they're back to tease us just a bit more with this four song EP. It starts off with "Waking Up Is Hard To Do", a delightfully power-poppy song that reminds me of Sarah Sarah or Bidston Moss, and a perfect way to start off the disc. The jangly, midtempo "Fear Of Flying" and "Lights Down" slow it down a little (with the latter featuring a melodica solo), while "Cubby House" (a catchy tune that we'd already been introduced to via a couple of the afore-mentioned compilations) finishes off the disc. All of the songs feature boy/girl vocals, with the two singers sharing lead vocal duties. Can't wait to hear more from this fun group!" IndiePages.com
"Clap, you Huskies! Then make with the lah-di-dah vocals and enunciate clearly in your best middle-Australian accent. Half past aayght, sings CC Hua on Waking Up, and my toes go all curly with irrational irritation (not unlike the first time I saw all 50 members of Architecture in Helsinki take to the stage), remaining in this position through the dork ode and homme/femme harmonies of Fear of Flying and then awkward geek girl ballad of Lights Down, all the way through to the ba-ba-dah/ba-da/ba-dah baby revelly of Cubbyhouse. It's cutesy flower pop for people who live on clouds of bubblegum. Given the popularity of Hi-5 in this country, they have a bright future ahead." Simone - Beat Magazine

Hey there guys. Can you please do us a huge favour and vote for Backpackers in the Logies? We know we're not gonna win but it would be an absolute pisser if we got nominated and give the show and all the bands a bit more exposure. There are details on how to do it on the new blog on my myspace page. Thanks for the support guys.
Just wanted to say thanks again for your support with backpackers. We wouldn't have been able to make the show without the help of all the bands who donated thier tracks so thanks again for everything. Your music is awesome and it complemented our footage perfectly. Thanks guys.
