Perlè altri non è che la naturale evoluzione artistica di Gianluigi Scamperle, ex cantante della band Kasanova, oggi con un proprio disco solista dopo 4 anni dallo scioglimento della band. Concepito in assoluta solitudine, in contatto diretto con i propri fantasmi, IL BLU E Il NERO è un disco di passaggio, di introspezione, di un viaggio senza filtri verso i propri poli opposti. Atmosfere psichedeliche che si intrecciano a sonorità più avvolgenti, digressioni verso il sound analogico degli anni ’70, differenti scelte stilistiche ed influenze musicali volutamente intersecate, generano un album in cui l’artista esplora in modo nettamente contrastante due diversi stati d’animo, due modi di sentire che convivono nella stessa persona come lo ying e lo yang. Tredici brani in cui si contrappone una sensibilità più sognante, calda, capace di illusione e di speranza ad una più nascosta, rabbiosa e di sconforto. All’interno dell’album una cover, Caroline Says, tratta dall’album Berlin di Lou Reed.
La realizzazione di questo disco è stata resa particolarmente speciale grazie al lavoro di: John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Mark Lanegan), John Parish (PJ Harvey, Afterhours), Dario Caglioni (Yes, Fabrizio De Andrè), Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Franz Ferdinand), Marco Vignuzzi (Ivan Graziani, Massimo Bubola) ed Alessandro Gioia (Davide Vandesfroos, Rosemary's Baby).
Il mastering è stato curato da Greg Calbi allo Sterling Sound di New York.
IL disco uscirà in tutti i negozi il 21 Settembre 2009, su etichetta La Rosa/Distribuzione Venus. E' inoltre disponibile sulle principali piattaforme digitali.

Perlè is the result of the artistic evolution of Gianluigi Scamperle – former singer of Kasanova band. Today, 4 years after the band broke up, Perlè's solo album has been released. Conceived in complete solitude, directly in contact with the ghosts of his past, IL BLU E IL NERO is an album of passage, of introspection, the outcome of an unfiltered journey towards Perlè's opposite poles. Psychedelic atmospheres intertwined with more enveloping sonorities approaching the '70s analogical sounds, together with different styles and influences intentionally intersecting each other, generate an album where the artist explores, in a sharply contrasting way, two different moods, two different feeling modes that coexist within the same person, just like ying and yang. Thirteen tracks where a dreamy and warm sensitivity, capable of nurturing hope and illusion, is set against bouts of anger and despair. The album also includes a Caroline Says cover from Lou Reed's Berlin album.
