Primer disco de GPILATTI DUB.
GPILATTI DUB es el proyecto solista, de Gustavo Pilatti.
Una combinacion de,REGGAE, DUB y ELECTRONICA.
Surge en el 2001, como un experimento sonoro,
y rapidamente se transforma en un proyecto en vivo,
Gustavo Pilatti junto a musicos invitados, recrean esa hipnosis del dub,
llevandolo hasta ritmos mas bailables y electronicos.
en el 2002 Gustavo viaja a España, instalandose en Madrid, donde muestra
su musica en varios clubs, logrando algunas residencias con su sound system en vivo.
colabora como vocalista y tecladista, con varios Djs de la escena electro y dub de madrid, como F-ON importante referente del sonido alternativo y dub en la electronica de españa, activo dj del Sonar, Rocky Mañoc, dj productor frances, Tambien grabo con Dubbyman, dj productor de madrid, el tema roots and culture editado en EP, vinilo de 12,¨por el sello Minuendo Spain.
gira por Andalucia, Valencia, Mallorca (donde reside un tiempo hasta su regreso) y el centro de la escena electronica, Ibiza, donde durante dos veranos mostro su estilo DUB en los atardeceres de Khumaras,
A finales de 2004 regresa para instalarse en Buenos Aires, y tambien
para incorporarse como musico en Nonpalidece, una de las bandas de reggae mas importantes de la escena argentina.
Actualmente Gpilatti dub, acaba de editar ,de forma independiente, su primer album, PANORAMICAL session volumen 1.
Ademas, tambien trabaja como productor, para otros artistas, como Dora Brown, donde remezclo temas de tango, transformandolos hacia el dub y la electronica, en Punto y coma, disco editado en argentina por el sello DBN .
Otra artista que ha pedido su colaboracion, es Princesa , nueva artista del reggaeton en argentina, a la cual le compuso y produjo, mitad de su disco debut, por el sello,Bomboclap Records.
En mayo y junio de 2006,GPILATTI DUB, toco en vivo en San Jose de Costa Rica y en Mexico DF, dentro de la gira latinoamericana de Nonpalidece. Recorded in between trips to Madrid, Mallorca, EL Salvador, Cordoba (Argentina) and Buenos Aires...
Panoramical Session Volumen I delves into dub, influenced by reggae, arabian and electro melodies. This album describes the different places where Gustavo Pilatti travelled around with his music, radiating energy and social conscience. A debut of assured dub-reggae featuring 15 musicial guests.
Biography
GPilatti Dub came up as a sound experiment but rapidly transformed in a further live project combining a broad palette of influences, from hipnotic dub and reggae to dance rhythims and electronic sounds.
In 2002 Gustavo travelled to Madrid, where he showed his music in different clubs pulling out a successfull live Sound System. Far from Argentina, his project continued and he collaborated as a vocal and keyplayer with several Djs of the electro and dub spanish scene such as F-ON, an important refference of the alternative sound and dub in the electronic spanich music. Gustavo Pilatti also recorded Dubbyman’s theme “Roots and Culture”, which was edited in Ep, 12’’ vinyl by the Minuendo Spain Records.
GPiltati Dub travelled around Andalucia, Valencia, Mallorca and Ibiza, centre of the electro scene, where he showcased his dub style in the Khumara’s sunsets.
At the end of 2004 he returned to Buenos Aires and joint local reggae band Nonpalidece who was already recognized as one of the most important reggae bands in Argentina. Gustavo proves ability to infuse her signature style into the reggae genre without overwhelming the already formed Nonpalidece’s personality.
Gustavo’s most notable collaborative efforts as a producer with other artists such as Dora Brown, on remixed tango themes, transforming them to dub and electro in the album “Punto y Como” (edited in Argentina with DBN label), as well as with Princesa, new reggaeton artist in Argentina, Pilatti produced and composed half of his album debut from Bomboclap Records.
GPilatti Dub played live in Costa Rica, Mexico DF and presented Panoramical Session Vol I release at La Trastienda Club Buenos Aires, joined by a cadre of musical friends, celebrating a thriving-dub party.
