About me: M&R International Music Group is a new Indie label founded by Richard Baker and Timothy Dollinger. The label has 2 artists: Hip-Hop artist Menice (2009 WBLK Unsigned Hype Hip Hop artist of the Year) and R&B artist Sunih Reed. Menice has fans worldwide and has been a mainstay feature on the home page of the hip-hop and R&B radio station radiostad.org in Belgium. Sunih Reed has a smooth sound when asked by Antonio from WGNL radio in Mississippi “Who do You Sound like?” Sunih Replied “You tell me”. Antonio answered his own question by saying “You are Great!” “And you sound like Sunih Reed”. Sunih has opened for artist Ralph Tresvant and Lee Carr.
Richard Baker has been in the music business since 1989. Starting out as a DJ for A local rapper, signed with Dajhalon entertainment in 1992 that was a subsidiary of the Power station in New York City and part of the interscope records restructuring. Richard has built his knowledge of the business through interactions with major label executives, artist and Industry consultants. Richard also Manages both artist.
M&R International Music has both artist on the road to stardom due to the promotional and marketing success from Professional publicist, upcoming commercial campaign on BET, VH1 and FX, E-marketing, Menice’s HD music video, Clear-channel online music and radio, Feature spots and interviews from cable access to ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC area broadcasting. Various supporters like worldwide radio in Virginia Beach, PBSfm in Australia and many online radio stations. Menice’s single “I GET IT” was the #2 selling download from Amazon for the month of November 2008 beating out major artist with huge advertising budgets.
Our 34ft promotional Tour Bus will be coming to your city. Menice has fans that drive long distances to see him. Example: 1 fan drove 2 hours from Memphis to get an autograph from him in Greenwood, Mississippi. Another drove 4 hours from Pittsburgh, Pa. To Rochester, NY just to him on the set of his music video shoot. Sunih had fans come 3 hours from Shreveport, La. to Mississippi. Menice is a native of Atlanta, Ga. And Sunih Reed is a native of Rochester, NY. Average draw 500-1000 loyal fans.
