I recently realized I am still a Boy Scout in many senses. I was raised to be that way. My mother did pretty darn good. Somewhere along the path of life, I slid a bit off to the side but my morals have stayed intact. The Boy Scout Oath fits me to a tee.
Trustworthy, Loyal(very much so), Helpful(I am always willing to help someone), Friendly(I will talk to anyone – I’m not persnickety), Courteous(I was taught this at an early age. Treat people with respect), Kind(don’t mistake my kindness for weakness though), Obedient(as best I can be), Cheerful(see below), Thrifty(Ummmm, well I could work on this one), Brave(probably to the point of insanity at times), Clean(I shower daily.{haha}, I try to do my part in respecting the environment and my community), Reverent(I do have a GOD in my life and I would consider myself to be a spiritual person).
If you have read this far, I have probably peeked your curiosity, which is good. You are probably someone who is not so shallow as to take one look at a picture and make a decision. This is good also. I don’t enjoy shallow people. Please continue…
With all of that said, I can say also that I am the quintessential Sagittarius. I am constantly in “learning” mode. I love new experiences. I love adventure, travel and of course philosophy. I am an optimist and always search for the silver lining in any darkness. I am honest as Sagittarians are, sometimes too much so. I do not hold back my thoughts. I say what I feel and/or what I think.
I am extremely outgoing and I tend to get along with pretty much everyone. My personality is one in which people like to be around. Sagittarians element is fire and thus I give off warmth that tends to draw people to me. When I am “on”, I have the ability to bring a smile to even the grumpiest of people. I make it a point to impact people’s lives in a positive way whenever I can. Sometimes I can be a bit overpowering and some friends say I am rather intense.
I am educated, employed, intelligent, articulate and wise. I have been many places and done many things. I am full of surprises, as some of my friends would say. I can be unpredictable at times too. I have furthermore been deemed as a hopeless romantic.
I recently left my career of almost 15 yrs to follow a dream. I went back to school and got a degree in Computer Information Systems because as kid I fell in love with computers. I am technically a geek, eccentric and different. I am ME.
Who is SHE? She is Chantal... More to come about her later. :)) Suffice it to say, she is incredible! Chantal is probably one of the most dynamic and exciting individuals I have met in quite some time. She definitely is a "Cup is Half Full" girl. She is a Taurus and that appears to be a pretty good match with a Sagittarius. Combine my outgoing personality with her level-headedness and we seem to be a match made in heaven. Sorry girls... Another good guy is off the market.
